Job Description: Animal Caregiver

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour plus (based on experience)

Join a compassionate, mission-driven team dedicated to caring for animals and helping them find loving homes. We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Animal Caregiver to support daily shelter operations and provide hands-on care for dogs and cats.
What You’ll Do
• Feed, water, and monitor animals daily
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and facility areas
• Administer medications as directed
• Exercise and enrich animals to support their well-being
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and basic health checks
• Interact with potential adopters and support adoptions
• Help with laundry, organization, and general upkeep
What We’re Looking For
• 18+ years old
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Animal care experience is a plus
Physical Requirements

• Lift to 50 lbs.
• Active role: standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
